Chapter Sixty Four

"For me?" Sasha asked, surprised.

"Yeah, I really need to talk to you," JC said.

"JC, I am really busy," Sasha said.

"Are you talking to Joey?" JC asked.

"Even though it's none of your business, yes I am," Sasha answered.

"Please, let him go, I really want to talk to you," JC pleaded.

"JC," Sasha said. "No."

"Fine," JC said. "I just wanted to talk to you and-"

"Don't try to make me feel guilty," Sasha warned.

"I'm not," JC said.

"Fine, call me back in six minutes," Sasha said, and hung up. "Joey?"

"Hey," he said.

"Sorry about that," she said.

"That's okay," he answered. "Who was it?"

"J-" she began. "I mean, just a person, trying to sell me something."

"They are hard to get off the phone," Joey said. "So I understand."

"I know they are," she said.

"Oh, crap, hold on, Chris just woke up, and he says his throat hurts. I need to get him some water," Joey said.

"Holding," Sasha said. She heard Chris and Joey's muffled voices in the background and a few minutes later, Joey came back on.

"Sorry," he said.

"It's fine," she answered. "I have another beep, hold on, okay?"

"Actually, I better go," Joey said. "Chris is up for a bit, I am going to get him something to eat."

"Okay," Sasha said. "Bye. I'll talk to you later."

"Bye," Joey answered, hanging up the phone.

Sasha clicked over. "Hello?"

"Hi," came a voice.

"JC..." Sasha groaned. "What do you want?"

"To get back together with you," JC answered.
