Chapter Three
Kevin pulled up in a light gray chevette and drove it to where Eryn was standing. He got out and hugged her, asking her if she was all right. She smiled slightly and said yes, and they walked around to the other side of the car. As James opened to door to the car for Eryn, they heard a sound.
"Eryn! ERYN! Don't go with Sasha! Stay with me!" James came out of the restaurant, as drunk as ever. He looked at the two. "Sasha looks pretty manly, baby!"
"James, leave me alone… you're drunk. Don't talk to me anymore," Eryn said, full of fear.
"Wait, a second there…" James walked up to where Kevin and Eryn were standing. "This isn't Sasha!"
"Yeah, I know," Kevin said, sarcastically. "It's Kevin."
"Kevin? You're going home with my old best friend? Gonna get freaky?" James looked disgusted. "Listen baby, I don't want you any more. You're shit." He walked away, mumbling to himself.
Kevin helped Eryn get into his car. They drove out of the parking lot in silence.
"Listen, thanks, Kev," Eryn said, breaking the ice. She put her hand on his knee. "You were always a great friend."

Later that night, Eryn, Sasha and Kevin were sitting on the couch, talking about old highschool memories.
"I'm really tired, guys, I have an early shift tomorrow," Sasha said apologetically. "I better go to sleep. See you tomorrow, Eryn. And it was great seeing you, Kevin." She bent down and hugged Kevin. "Good night." She went upstairs.
"Do you want something to drink?" Eryn asked Kevin after Sasha had left.
"Sure, just a Coke or something," Kevin said, smiling.
"Okay, I'll be back," Eryn said.
Minutes later, Eryn returned from the kitchen, and sat down next to Kevin on the couch. She handed him his Coke, and opened her own. He placed his on the table, next to the couch.
Kevin smiled at her, and Eryn smiled back. What’s with him? She thought. He's all, I don't know, smiling and stuff. Like the cat that just ate the canary.
He moved a little closer to her on the couch. "Eryn, I want to tell you something, but I don't want you to say anything, till I am done." He told her. "Actually, actions speak louder than words."
In a quick movement, he pushed her back, and grabbed her arms. He began kissing her. Not sweet, but hard, and unkind. She tried to push him away but it was no use. She was stuck. She tried to scream, but it only came out muffled. Finally he removed his lips from hers, to unbutton her shirt with his mouth. She took advantage and let out a blood-curdling scream.
"Shut up, bitch!" Kevin hissed.
Holy shit! The little voice inside her head screamed. He's going to rape me!

Sasha woke up to the sound of a very loud scream. What the hell? She thought. What's going on down there? She got up, and walked downstairs. She looked in the family room, and saw Kevin on top of Eryn, who was struggling underneath him.
"Kevin! What the hell do you think you are doing? If you don't get off Eryn and get your ass out of my house, I am going to call the police!" Sasha grabbed the phone to show she wasn't joking.
"Sasha… what are you doing here? We were, um, busy," Kevin blushed.
"Busy? Whatever, Kevin, you were busy… I wasn't," Eryn sat up, and got off of the couch.
"Fine, you stupid bitch," Kevin yelled. "But watch yourself… I'll be back." With that, he grabbed his things and got out of the house.
Eryn buttoned up her shirt with shaking hands.
"What went on, Eryn? Anything really serious?" Sasha sat her friend down on the couch, with a concerned and sympathetic look on her face.
"Nothing really," Eryn sighed, and a tear trickled down her face. "I mean, Kevin? That would be the last person I would suspect…"
"It always is," Sasha said. "What happened?"
"I just… I just got us some drinks, and he said something like, actions speak louder than words. Then he pushed me back and pinned back my arms with his hands. Then he just started, kissing me. Disgustingly… ugh. Sorry, I never want to talk about this again… can we let it go?" Eryn frowned. "First James, then Kevin… and in one night!"
Sasha smiled. "Bad luck… it happens to the best of us." She got up, and lifted Eryn to her feet. "Come on, let's go to bed."
Eryn shook her head. "Nah… I can't sleep now. I'm gonna go online. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" She hugged her friend. "Thanks for saving me and everything."
"Always. Good night," Sasha said, and walked upstairs.
"Night…" Eryn called after her. She walked over to the computer, and turned it on.
