Chapter Twenty Five
Justin and Eryn pulled apart and Lance quietly walked back into the living room. He decided he could hold it. Right now, he was just too stressed.
He laid in his bed, his thoughts on Eryn. He didn't know what to do.
***
"Thanks, Justin," Eryn said. "You're great. But I have to go to bed. I'm really tired. Good night."
"Good night," Justin said, and walked into Sasha's room.

The next morning, all seven of them sat down for a breakfast of Lucky Charms, orange juice and toast with Eryn's mom's homemade strawberry jam.
"This is great," Chris said, with his mouth full. "Tell your mom to send us the recipe."
"Nope," Eryn said. "Family secret."
"A damn good one," Chris said. Joey nodded in agreement.
"Anyway, what do you guys want to do today?" Eryn asked.
"Well, me and JC are going to go to Canada's Wonderland," Sasha answered. "He brought a hat and some sunglasses, so we don't think he will be recognizable."
"Okay," Eryn said. "What about the rest of you?"
Lance hesitated. He wanted to spend the day with Eryn, but he didn't want to say anything. "Not sure yet," he answered.
"Well, I am going to the mall," Joey said. "Which does make me sound like a fag, but I don't care. I need some new pants."
"Sounds like a plan," Eryn said. "How about we all go? Well, minus JC and Sasha."
"Great," Lance said. A plan was falling into place. He just wasn't sure what it was.
"I'll go," Justin said. Lance frowned. Can't he stay home or something? Lance thought.
"Sure, sounds good," Chris said.
"We're leaving now," Sasha said. "See you guys later."
"Bye," the others said.
"Have fun," said Eryn.
JC and Sasha left a few minutes later.
"Should we go now?" asked Joey. "I really need those pants."
"Okay," Eryn said, clearing the table. "Let's go."
Eryn got in the car, and again Justin was faced with the dilemma where he should sit. This time, Chris yelled, "SHOTGUN!" and ran to the passenger side. Apparently it was solved again.
When they got to the mall, Joey asked Eryn where the nearest cool pants store is.
Eryn laughed. "Well, Opus is a good store. Try there." She gave him brief directions. They all decided to meet in front of the food court at around one o'clock.
"Joey!" Chris called through the mall. "Wait up, buddy! I'm coming." He took off after Joey.
"Okay," Eryn said, turning to the guys. "Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know, let's just walk around or something," Justin said. "I don't really need to buy anything."
"Me neither," Lance agreed.
"Okay," Eryn said. "Good idea." They started to walk opposite the direction where Joey and Chris went.
***
"Hey!" A photographer ran up to JC and Sasha when they walked in the entrance. "Let me take your photo."
"Sure," Sasha said, deciding not to be rude.
"Okay," the photographer looked down and noticed they were holding hands. "Hug or something."
Sasha kissed JC on the cheek as the when the photographer took the picture.
"Great," he said. "Come to the entrance later to get it, okay? In about a half an hour."
"Thanks," JC said, and the two walked away.

After about a half an hour, Justin, Eryn and Lance decided to sit on a bench in front of a shoe store called Aldo.
"Do either of you have to go to the bathroom?" Justin asked. They shook their heads. "Well, I do. I'll be right back, okay?"
"Okay," Eryn said. She pointed to the door where the washroom was.
"Eryn," Lance said, seconds after Justin left. "I need to ask you something."
"Sure," Eryn said. "You can ask me anything."
"Well, I know we are friends and stuff, so I want you to be honest." Lance took a deep breath. "Not because I care, just because, well, for Justin," Lance lied.
"What is it?" Eryn asked, totally oblivious to the lie.
"Do you think that you are going to get back together with Justin?" Lance asked.
The question struck Eryn like a bucket of cold water. "I-I-I'm not sure," she stammered.
Lance looked at her closely. "Tell me, yes or no."
"I don't think so. Lance, Justin and I are just friends. If we get back together, it won't be for a very long time."
Lance felt satisfied. "Okay," he said.
Eryn looked away, feeling guilty. For how great hers and Lance's friendship was, she couldn't believe she just lied to him.
***
JC and Sasha got off of The Bat, one of the scariest roller coasters in the park.
"How about we go get our picture now?" Sasha asked him.
"Sure," he said. They walked towards the entrance.
JC bought them each a keychain with the picture in it.
Sasha looked through hers. She liked how she looked in it. Her lips were planted on his cheek, and her arm was rested comfortably around his waist. Her eyes moved over to JC, and horror filled her eyes.
"JC!" she exclaimed. "What's up with you in the picture?"
"What are you talking about?" he asked her, absentmindedly.
"What am I talking about? WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?" Sasha screamed.
"Sasha, calm down," JC said.
"Look!" she thrusted her key chain in front of his face.
JC peered into the key chain. He had no idea what Sasha was talking about. And then he saw it. He couldn't believe that was him. And he didn't even know he was doing it.
***
Justin walked out of the bathroom, and the three sat on the bench a bit longer.
"I have an idea," Eryn said, breaking the silence. "I need a new dress. Do you guys want to help me pick out something?"
"Sure," Justin said.
"Okay," Lance agreed.
They walked to Eryn's favourite store, and the three looked at the dresses that lined the walls.
"I want something summery and casual," she told them.
"Okay," Lance said. He picked up a pale pink dress with darker pink embroidered flowers. "How's this?"
"It's nice," Eryn said, "but I don't really like pink."
Lance put it back. They looked at some more dresses and finally they picked out three. Eryn took them to the change room, and Lance and Justin sat on chairs that were right beside it.
Eryn came out in the first one. It had thin shoulder straps and was almost knee length. It fit well, and was a light turquoise colour, one that Eryn really liked.
"How's this?" she asked.
"Great," Lance said. "You look great." Justin nodded in agreement.
"I think it's too dressy what I am looking for," Eryn said. She went back into the change room.
Minutes later, she came back out with a short thicker strapped dress. It was khaki material and khaki colour.
"I really like this," Eryn said. "But I want to try on the last one."
When she stepped back out, Justin gasped with surprise. Eryn was wearing a tight form fitting short dress, with thin straps. It was baby blue.
