Chapter Twenty Four
"Justin!" Eryn was surprised. And Justin was only wearing his boxers. "What are you doing?"
"Just watching you through that mirror," Justin said. He pointed to the one that he was looking through.
"Justin, that's not nice," Eryn said. "What if I was picking my nose or something?"
"You'd still be the same beautiful Eryn no matter if you are picking your nose or eating your ear wax," Justin smiled.
"Justin! That's sick!" Eryn laughed.
"I was serious," Justin said.
"Stop it, Justin," Eryn said.
"Why do you keep on saying my name?" Justin asked.
"What are you talking about?" Eryn said.
"Every sentence you are saying Justin something, or something Justin," Justin looked at her closely. "What is with saying my name?"
"I don't know," Eryn said. "I didn't realize I was doing it."
"Okay," Justin let it go. "Anyway, what are you doing up?"
"I should ask you the same thing. I'm just not tired." Eryn said.
"I'm not either," Justin said. "Something else was on my mind."
"Oh, really?" Eryn said, she leaned closer to him. "Like what?"
"Stuff," Justin shrugged. "It doesn't matter."
"Justin," Eryn said. "Tell me."
"You did it again," Justin teased. "You started with Justin."
"Don't change the subject," Eryn said. "Talk to me. What's wrong?"
"Okay, I'll tell you what's wrong. Month's after you hating me, you're finally talking to me again, and it just happened, like this," Justin demonstrated with a snap of his fingers. "It's a lot to take in at once."
"I'm sorry," Eryn said. "But you did some awful things. And then we didn't keep in touch. If I saw you often, I am sure we would have talked sooner. Can we forget all this and screw the past?"
"Eryn, you said I broke your heart. But I really liked you. And you just kept ignoring me, and hanging up on me," Justin looked away. "You broke mine."
"Justin, I'm really sorry," Eryn said. "I really am. But I can't change the past. Those emails… they were really thoughtful, and it showed me what you really meant to me. I don't want you to hate me."
"I don't, Eryn," Justin said. He looked at her. "Fine, let's forget it all. I think that would be the best." He smiled at her.
"That's great," Eryn said. "Just fabulous."

Lance woke up and realized he had to go to the bathroom. He couldn't hold it, but he didn't know where it was. He got up, and carefully stepped over Chris on the floor.
He walked out of the room, unsure where to go. Seeing a light in the kitchen, he decided someone might be up to tell him where to head.

"I'm glad we've settled this little fight," Justin said. "Even though it wasn't really little. I still like you, Eryn. The same as I always have."
"You're my friend right now," Eryn told him.
"Okay," Justin frowned. "Well, let's make our friendship official." He opened his arms wide. "Hug?"
"Of course," Eryn said. She went into his arms, and they hugged tightly.

Lance walked into the kitchen, and horror swept over his body.
Right in front of him were Eryn and Justin, together in a close hug.
