Chapter Twenty Three
The arrived a little earlier than Sasha had said. The doorbell rang.
Eryn ran up to the door, then stepped back glancing in the mirror. She wanted to make sure she looked good for them. She had on dark blue jeans, a white tank top, and her hair was up in a ponytail. She opened the door.
"ERYN!" Sasha screamed and hugged her. She ran past her and threw her stuff on the floor. "I can't believe I'm home."
"Hey, everyone," Eryn said.
"Hey Eryn," JC said, hugging her. "How are you?"
"Good," she said. JC walked past her. Next was Chris.
"Hello, Eryn," Chris said.
"Hey Chris," she smiled. Lance walked up to her.
"Hey," he said quietly. He smiled, and he wanted to hug her. But he didn't.
"Hello, Lance," she answered. Joey and her bid each other hello's.
Justin walked up next. "Hey," he said. "I've missed you. You look great."
"So do you," Eryn said. She really meant it. He was wearing a white T-shirt and khaki pants. He had on new white running shoes, and his hair was light brown.
They group set down their luggage where Eryn told them they could sleep. Eryn was in her room, sharing her queen sized bed with Sasha. Justin and JC were going to sleep in Sasha's big bed. Chris was to sleep on the small couch in the living room, and Joey and Lance were sharing the large pull out couch in the same room that Chris was sleeping in.
When everyone was settled where they were going to sleep, they all sat down in the kitchen.
"So, what now?" Joey asked.
"I don't know," Sasha said.
"How about we go out for dinner?" Chris suggested.
"Great idea," Eryn said. The rest of the group nodded in agreement. "There's this great place. It's really casual, and serves everything."
"Oh, Bobby Diner's?" Sasha asked. "Yeah, it's great there."
"Okay, let's go," JC said.
"I'll drive my car, and Eryn can drive hers. Then we can all fit," Sasha said. "JC, you and Chris can come with me."
"And I'll take Joey, Lance and Justin," Eryn said.
They walked out to their cars. Eryn got in the driver's seat, and Joey got in the backseat. Justin hesitated. He didn't know whether to sit beside Eryn or in the back. Lance made the decision for him. He got in the front, so Justin got in the back.

After their dinner, they went back to the house. It was later, and everyone was tired from the late night before. Chris, Lance and Joey all went to sleep in the living room.
JC and Sasha went into the backyard. They laid on the grass, and watched the stars.
Eryn went into her room and put on her old shorts and a T-shirt and went into her bathroom to brush her teeth. She took out her ponytail and her hair fell loosely over her shoulders. She heard someone come in the back doors. Opening the door, she saw it was JC and Sasha. They kissed and wished each other a good night, and JC went into Sasha's room. Sasha walked into Eryn's room, and fell into bed. Minutes later, she was sound asleep.
Eryn sat in bed, and opened her new copy of Cosmopolitan. She read through the whole magazine and looked at her bright alarm clock. It was past midnight and she was wide awake. She couldn't go watch TV in the living room, because Chris, Joey and Lance were asleep in there. She couldn’t go on the computer for the same reason.
She decided to go in the kitchen because there was a little thirteen-inch television on the counter. She quietly went into the living room, and took the cushy computer chair. She pulled it into the kitchen. Opening the fridge, she took out the Brita and poured herself a glass of water. Grabbing a box of Ritz crackers from the counter, she finally sat in the chair. Taking the remote control, she turned on her favourite late night talk show, Conan O'Brien. She rested her feet on the counter and watched Conan.
Eryn watched as Conan went through his act at the beginning. His first guest was Seth Green, an actor she somewhat admired. She liked his show, Buffy, but she wasn't really infatuated with him. Sasha was though. She thought he was really hot. His second guest was Ben Affleck, one of her favourite actors of all time. She laughed at his jokes, when all of a sudden she heard a sound behind her. She muted the television and didn't hear anything.
Shrugging it off, she un-muted the TV and watched the musical guest, one that she had never heard of. She heard the noise again. This time, she took her feet off of the counter and shut off the TV. She turned around.
"Hello, Eryn."
