Chapter Twenty-one

After about ten minutes, Sasha stopped crying. Somewhere between her starting and stopping, she had sat down beside JC, and leaned on his shoulder. His arms were tightly around her.

"Are you alright?" JC asked her.

"No," Sasha said. "I'm not. JC… I made a big mistake."

"What?" JC asked.

"I should never have broken up with you," Sasha said, tears once again filling her eyes.

"Yes, you should have," JC said. "I was an asshole. I cheated on you, I gave away your tickets…"

"This isn't about the tickets!" Sasha said. "I am not that superficial."

"I know," JC said.

"Did you mean it, JC? Or did you just want me to turn around?" Sasha asked him. "Tell me the truth."

"I meant it," JC said, looking straight into her eyes. "I really did. I…" he took a deep breath. "I love you, Sasha."

"I love you, too," Sasha whispered. Tears fell down her cheeks. Still whispering she spoke: "JC, I never have felt this way about anyone, and when I saw you with her, I didn't know what to do. I loved you then, and you broke my heart. I love you now. My heart is fixed."

"Shut up," JC smiled. "You always have talked too much." He pulled her close and kissed her.

Lance finished telling Joey about the rescheduling of their break. He had already told Chris and Justin, and was looking for JC.

Spotting him outside, he went out the doors, and told him.

"Thanks," JC answered, looking at Sasha.

Lance smiled and walked back inside.

***

"A month?" Sasha asked. "That's all you get?"

"Yeah," JC said. "I guess. Are you going home?"

Sasha nodded. "Yeah, I miss Eryn."

"Oh," JC said.

"Would you like to come with me?" Sasha asked.

"Do you really want me to?" JC asked.

"Yeah, I do," Sasha said honestly.

"Sure," JC said.

***

Tears fell down Eryn's cheek as she read over a specific email. So far, it was the most touching one. She read it again.

Eryn-

I miss you. A lot. I wish we were still together. You were everything to me.

Justin

It was simple, but she loved it. All of the others were just apologies. This one was different. She couldn't wait any longer. She had to call Lance.

***

The phone rang. Justin looked at the clock. It was an hour before showtime, and they had to leave. They were supposed to be there early.

"Hello?" Justin said.

Eryn immediately recognized the voice. She panicked. "H-h-hey… is Lance there?"

Justin, oblivious to who it was, answered, "yeah hold on."

"Hello?" Lance said, seconds later.

"Lance, hi," Eryn said. "I did it. It was Justin, and I did it."

"Great," Lance said. "I'm proud of you."

"Thanks," Eryn said.

"I talked to JC. Him and Sasha are coming home for the month." Lance told her.

"Great," Eryn said. "I really miss her."

"She misses you, too," Lance said.

"Where are the others going?" Eryn asked.

"Joey said he needed a break from us, I'm not sure about Chris and Justin." Lance answered. "Joey is staying in a hotel for two weeks. The first two."

"Okay, I want you to tell Joey, Chris and Justin that they can come home with you, JC and Sasha, okay?" Eryn said. "We have lots of room, and Joey can come after his break."

"Sure," Lance said, confused. "Justin, though?"

"Yeah," Eryn said. "Definitely."

"Definitely?" Lance asked. "What happened?"

"Well, I read some old emails from his, that I never read before. I've decided to forgive him, I think. Don't tell him though." Eryn said.

"Are you going to get back together with him?" Lance asked.

"No," Eryn answered. "I really doubt it."

"But there's a chance?" Lance asked.

"Why do you ask so many questions?" Eryn laughed.

"I don't know," Lance said. "Well, I do, but, I have to go. Bye."

"Bye," Eryn said. "Good luck at the concert."

"Yeah, see you," Lance said, and hung up. He felt incredibly defeated.

The concert was over, and it went great. Melissa and her sister showed, but JC avoided them both, and made sure that Sasha didn't see them.

Later on, backstage, their producer walked up with their agent.

"Hey guys, great show," their producer said.

"Thanks," said Lance.

"You are free to go. Meet us in Tennessee for a concert in exactly one month, okay? On August 15th." He handed them a sheet of paper giving them directions to the hotel.

"We will keep in touch," the agent said. "Bye."

"Bye," the guys answered, excited.

Finally, they were getting a break.
