Chapter Nineteen

"Hello?" said the familiar voice.

"Hey, it's JC," JC said, still nervous.

"JC! Hey! Pumped for the concert?" asked the agent.

"Well, no. See we are all in a fight. Justin's pissed at me, Chris is pissed at me, Lance is not talking to anyone… I don't know what to do!" JC said.

"Well, we'll keep the concert on… I guess. Unless things get worse. Just call me back atleast two hours prior, okay?" he asked.

"Great, thanks," JC said, a little relieved. "Bye."

"See you," the agent answered, and hung up the phone.

Joey walked to the front of the bus, and clicked on the intercom.

"Attention, everyone," he announced. "There is a meeting in five minutes for Lance, JC, Justin, Chris, Sasha and myself in the TV room. Be there, or I'll kick your ass. Thank you." He clicked it off. He watched as each person walked into the TV room, and then went there himself.

"Hello, everyone," he greeted as he walked in. Everyone mumbled a reply. "I bet you are wondering why I called you all in here."

"Yeah," Justin said. "We are. Get to the point, Joey."

"I am," he said. "Anyway, I know there has been some tension with everyone in the last few days. And I don't want this to affect our concert. Fans want a show, and we should give them one."

Everyone except for Sasha nodded in agreement.

"Now, I know everything that's going on. EVERYTHING. So stop being all stupid, and focus on the fans," Joey smiled. "Thank you, bye, see y'all."

Everyone left except for JC.

"How much DO you know?" JC asked.

"What I said. Everything." Joey said simply.

"Tell me what you know about me," JC demanded. "I mean, I DO have a right to know, don't I? Since it's about me." JC said.

"Fine," Joey gave in. "You fell in what you call love with Sasha, you invite her here, you screw up your friendship with Justin, you go on a damn date, you kiss the girl, you take her number, you crush Sasha, and you don't apologize. That's what I know."

"How do you know all that?" JC asked.

"I just do. Infact, I know a lot of stuff. So just lay off, okay? Stop bugging Justin, and don't talk to Sasha. JC… just get a life." Joey said, and walked away.

"What the hell?" JC shouted after him, but Joey made no attempt to talk to him. Finally, JC's words that he said to Justin were coming back to him.

***

Joey walked pass Lance's bunk. Lance was sitting there, the phone beside him, reading a magazine.

"Hey, wait," Lance said to Joey.

"Yes?" Joey stopped walking.

"Um… you said you know everything. What do you know about me?" Lance asked.

"Everything," Joey said simply. He smiled at Lance's confused look. "Absolutely everything. I know you are going to ask me what, and I do know."

"Just tell me what you know," Lance said, trying to stay calm.

"I know about your late night conversations," Joey answered. "And no, I won't say anything."

Lance breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks, man."

"Sure," Joey said, and walked away, towards the TV room.

When he got in the TV room, Justin was staring blankly at the television.

"What's wrong, man?" Joey asked.

"Oh, the usual. Still lusting over Eryn," Justin sighed.

Sasha sat outside, on the grass, waiting until the bus driver told her they were leaving. She rolled up her sleeves, and laid back, trying for a tan. Putting her Nike tilly hat over her head, she closed her eyes. She never got much sleep the previous night.

Hearing someone sit beside her, she mumbled a hello.

"Hey," said the voice.

"JC! What are you doing?" Sasha asked, sitting up. "I don't want to talk to you." She started to get up.

"Okay, Sasha, please just sit down," JC said, his eyes focused on hers.

"Why?" Sasha said, stubbornly.

"Just hear me out, then I give you permission to leave, never talk to me again, do anything you want. You can even slap me," JC said.

Sasha smiled a little and sat back down. "Okay," she said reluctantly. "Talk."

"Well," JC said. "I want to tell you, truthfully, everything that happened. Starting five years ago."

"Sounds good," Sasha said. "Keep going."

"Well, we started going out freshman year. She asked me, and we went out ever since. We were Prom King and Queen. It was the perfect romance. I did love her. I moved, and moved on with love. I had two girlfriends n between her and you. She was really, really understanding when we broke up. We didn't even try long distance, and I was a little sick of her. Seeing the same person day after day for that long drove me insane. I didn't want to be with her anymore." JC took a deep breath. "I've never told anyone any of this before."

"Keep going," Sasha said.

"Okay, I am." JC smiled. "Anyway, when I saw her, I was really happy. Not because I wanted to get back together, just because she was an old friend, too. It wasn't a date, to me, but to her apparently it was. She hadn't realized I had a girlfriend and when I told her she looked really upset. I made it clear I didn't want to be with her."

"Listen JC, I saw you kiss her," Sasha said. "I was looking, I saw you, and I heard everything. I know she kissed you, but I also saw you kiss her back."

"I know, but…" JC began.

"JC! Listen to me! You are twice her size and you could have pushed her off." Sasha said.

"I know, I know," JC said regrettably. "But it was all so familiar, and…" he trailed off.

"Okay, JC," Sasha said. "If I were you, I may have done that too. I understand that you are some huge superstar and everything. And I know you went out with her for a very long time. I can see your point."

JC was astonished. "So, you're not pissed? Even if I accidentally gave her your tickets?"

Sasha shook her head. "No, not really. I am a little, because you did kiss her and stuff. And it wasn't ever how we kissed, it was different. It just bothered me. Considering you were my boyfriend. The tickets, I don't care about. I can stay backstage."

"I made a huge mistake, and I really wish you would take me back," JC said. "I broke up with Melissa because I didn't love her anymore. But I don't want to lose someone else, just because I am a natural idiot."

Sasha smiled. "I forgive you. And JC?"

"Yeah?" JC asked.

"Thanks for being honest," Sasha answered. She turned and walked to the bus.

"I'm always honest when I am in love," JC said, quietly.

Sasha stopped walking. She turned around and raised an eyebrow.
